We love volunteers!
With so much activity packed into just 36 hours, we need some volunteers. Simply put, we couldn’t do it without the energy and hard work provided by our enthusiastic volunteers. We invite you to sign up to join us this year.
We rely on volunteers at every turn of the event. Our volunteers set up pavilions; register teams; provide help and direction; direct communications; assist with the dubbing facilities; check-in final tapes; run the tapes; judge the films; host filmmakers; liaison with industry professionals and help put together the gala screening events.
Volunteers must attend a Volunteer Orientation on Thursday, October 6 and make a commitment to work at least 4 hours between October 7 – 9, 2011.
We offer you the opportunity of working with fellow film-making and film-loving enthusiasts, in a safe and respectful environment, with a common goal of making this the best experience possible for everyone involved.
These positions are volunteer only, and in certain agreed-upon cases, expenses will be paid for gas, etc. Lite meals and refreshments will be provided to all volunteers during the event. The Shoot Out Boulder will also provide a free ticket to the final screening event on Sunday after the successful completion of the volunteer tasks.
We simply would not exist without volunteers. Our volunteers love film, they enjoy high-energy events, and they are promising to return for this year’s event because they had so much fun last year.
